Sweetwater takes care of all opening and closing duties each fall and spring. These
duties include but are not limited to:
Spring:
- Removing and cleaning the cover
- Cleaning and setting out pool furniture
- Starting pump system
- Cleaning the deck
- Cleaning the bathrooms
- Vacuuming the pool
- Cleaning pool tiles
- Balancing pool water
- Cleaning out guard room and storage areas
- Delivering supplies
- Scheduling health department inspection
Fall:
- Vacuum pool
- Installing the pool cover
- Winterizing the pumps
- Winterizing the bathrooms (upon request)
- Storing pool furniture
Winter:
In the winter months it is critical to maintain the water chemistry of your pool
to protect the plaster, equipment, and other features of your facility. We provide
winter service as part of our year round contract. We will visit your pool a minimum
of once every two weeks to remove leaves from the deck and pool cover, check and
adjust the water chemistry, and check for any possible freeze damage.
